Meet

Ola Akintola

Food has always been a part of my story.

My love for cooking started as a child in Ibadan, Nigeria, spending time on my grandfather’s farm—planting vegetables, caring for animals, and learning the importance of food, family, and community. After moving to St. Louis, Missouri, I continued exploring that passion in the kitchen alongside my mother and aunt, learning recipes, traditions, and flavors from around the world.

What started as sharing Nigerian food with my college community eventually became O’s Kitchen, a journey that allowed me to celebrate my culture and connect with people through food. While that chapter has come to an end, my love for cooking, storytelling, and creating meaningful experiences remains.

This space is a reflection of who I am—sharing the recipes, stories, and moments that celebrate culture, family, and the everyday joys that bring us together.

Thanks for stopping by!

With Love, Ola A.
